Facebook users say goodbye to 'is'

Noticed last night that Facebook has removed the compulsory 'is' from their status feature. As a regular facebook goer this is pretty nice to see - especially as it may well have all originated from this user group.
*** WE DID IT! ***
That's right! The dreaded "is" is gone!
Congratulations to the 182,015 (as of midnight on Thursday, December 13, 2007) of who helped make this a reality!
Odd...I supported the idea, but since it actually happened I have kept the 'is' in my facebook updates.
